Co-designed with suicide science experts, people with lived experience, and leading healthcare systems, Jaspr Health transforms natural wait times into immediate, empowered self-care and support of ED staff to stabilize suicide crises*.

Compared to care-as-usual, Jaspr Health improves patient access to recommended interventions, decreases agitation and distress, improves coping and patient experience.

Drs. Kelly Koerner and Linda Dimeff are internationally-recognized leaders in bringing evidence-based practices to real-world settings through new technologies. Kris Kelsay

Board Chair

Kris Kelsay is a startup veteran and commercialization leader with proven success delivering in complex and evolving business environments. She heads Thought Leadership and Commercial Go-to-Market for Providence, a $29B integrated health system, where she is responsible for the Ideation-to-Solution Lab and commercial GTM for the organization’s internal technology incubator, as well as thought leadership efforts for the Providence 4SITE organization. She has 25+ years of experience bringing new solutions and companies to market, working with dozens of enterprise, government entities and non-profits across a broad set of industries.

Linda Dimeff, PhD

With more than 30 federal grants and over 50 peer-reviewed publications, Linda is recognized as one of the world’s most preeminent DBT and Substance Use Disorder experts. She has partnered with Dr. Koerner on multiple ventures, including BTECH Research and Evidence-Based Practice Institute, LLC. and serves as adjunct faculty at the University of Washington. She is also principal owner of Portland DBT Institute, which employs 30 clinicians in two Oregon locations and Heal, Thrive, Grow Behavioral Health, Inc., a private practice group serving adults and adolescents.

Topher Jerome

Lived Experience Advisory Board Chair

Topher brings a lifetime of relevant experience to our team. He spent 12 years developing and managing peer support programs in intensive psychiatric settings in addition to a background in information technology, including EMRs. As a suicide attempt survivor himself, Topher has a personal commitment to the work at Jaspr Health.

These strengths combined with his expertise in technology, operations, partnerships, marketing, product management, and creating significant economic value in U.S. and global markets make him an agile, responsive leader experienced in guiding multicultural teams. David Jobes, PhD, ABPP

THE CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY

Dr. Jobes’ research and writing in suicide has produced well over 100 peer reviewed publications (including six books on clinical suicidology). As an internationally recognized suicidologist, Dr. Jobes is a past President of the American Association of Suicidology (AAS) and was a recipient of that organization’s 1995 “Shneidman Award” in recognition of early career contribution to suicide research. Dr. Jobes is the creator and developer of the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicidality (CAMS), an evidenced based treatment for suicide backed by over 30 years of research and multiple randomized controlled trials.
